I am a creative, a marketer, a coach and a cheerleader… I am a woman of this age - 64 at this writing - who does not want to be dismissed and undervalued. I have so much more I want to do, create and contribute. I know there are a lot of other women at this stage who feel the same.

During the Pandemic Pause I spent more time in self-reflection and realized I wasn’t exactly living the life I wanted to be living. As an “exercise” to start considering “What’s Next?” I embarked on the 64 project - you may read about it on this website. I enjoyed creating that project and found it to be of value to me and to the others that contributed through their essay-writing. I wanted to continue and broaden the “conversation” around this stage of life and invite more women to share their perspectives. I wanted to create an inspiring movement that will embolden each of us to level-up and realize more of our potential. Thus the creation of Her Next Act.

Through conversations with friends and acquaintances I discovered, of course, there are a multitude of different ways of thinking about this stage depending on how you arrived here. Though the path is different for each of us I recognize the commonality - we all want to lead a life that is truly fulfilling and nourishes our soul.

Embarking on the journey of self-discovery can be exhilarating and a little scary perhaps. But I continually remind myself of what I believe is one of the most powerful slogans ever created, Just Do It.
